Through your support the Special Olympics Arizona athlete is inspired to greatness. 

For over 30 years individuals, foundations, associations and corporations have answered the call to help Special Olympics Arizona’s athletes realize and fulfill dreams through sports training and competition.

Today, that dream extends to over 9,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities ages eight to 80.  As those dreams are realized, lives are changed through training and competition, but more importantly self-confidence is built, social competency is gained and self-esteem soars.  These are the real results gained beyond the medals won and ribbons awarded for those individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Special Olympics athletes of Arizona are not charged fees or expenses for training or competing…ever…all fees and expenses are fully covered through generous financial support from donors, sponsors and benefactors.

There are many ways to financially support Special Olympics Arizona.  You can participate as an individual, as a group through a “third party” fundraiser or as a corporation through sponsorship to name a few.  Special Olympics Arizona is recognized as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code allowing for tax-deductible monetary or in-kind gifts from contributors.
