Planning your gift is important…plan to make a difference today!
Special Olympics Arizona is prepared to assist you and work with your financial advisors, too. A planned or deferred gift may be just the type of opportunity you are looking for to support not only the current efforts of Special Olympics Arizona, but help them be positioned for the future, too.
As a benefactor of Special Olympics Arizona, you can make great things happen for individuals with intellectual disabilities through your planned gift. You can make a difference and make dreams come true. In reviewing these types of opportunities it is important for you to accomplish your goals, plan for your family and plan for your charitable interests.
Planned gifts provide a variety of tax and other benefits. Some of these gifts are:
- Bequests – a gift through your will or revocable living trust provides great flexibility and requires no immediate funding.
- Life Insurance – an easy way to make a significant gift through a new or existing policy where cash value of the policy and/or current premiums payments are tax deductible as a gift to Special Olympics Arizona.
- Charitable Remainder Trust – this is an agreement between you and a trustee that pays you an income for life or a term of years. When the trust is terminated, the remaining assets are distributed to Special Olympics Arizona.
- IRA/Retirement Plan Assets – these assets can provide a significant gift plus provide you and possibly your heirs considerable income and estate tax saving.
Thank you for considering one of these important planned gifts to make a difference and make dreams come true.
Note: When contemplating a planned gift, donors should always seek the advice
and personal guidance of their personal legal counsel or professional advisor.
Special Olympics Arizona does not provide these professional services.
