Families of Special Olympics athletes are of the utmost importance to us and are a vital component of the opportunities we provide. That is why we never charge families fees for any of our sporting events, so that every family member feels welcome.

Special Olympics Arizona is dedicated in our belief that we can be an incredible resource of valuable information for any family.

If your family or extended family includes a child or adult with an intellectual disability then we can offer you a sense of community.  Through participation in Special Olympics Arizona you can gain:

• A support network of people with similar concerns, questions and life experiences
• A place of acceptance, respect and belonging
