Gilbert Police Rock & Run for Special Olympics

“The Gilbert Police Rock and Run for Special Olympics” will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Gilbert Youth Soccer Complex (Hetchler Park) located at 4260 S. Greenfield Rd (Greenfield/Germann).  The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am and the 5K Run will begin at 9:15 am. 

The purpose of this event is to raise money and awareness in support of the 9,100 Special Olympic Athletes who train and compete year-round in Arizona.  It is through the efforts of the Gilbert Police Department and other Public Safety Agencies that these Special Olympians and their families are supported.  An estimated $500,000 is raised annually through these combined efforts. 

The cost to register is $20 through 8:00 am on January 24, 2012 and $25 from 8:01 am on January 24 through the day of the event.   The day of the run, we will accept registration at Hetchler Park beginning at 8:00 am.

T-shirts will be guaranteed to early registrants only.

Pre-registration packet pick-up will be held on Wednesday, February 1 from 4-6 pm and again on Thursday, February 2 from 7:30-9 am.
